Greated and seated by a friendly and vivacious staffer. Good menu and extensive wine list. Our waiter got a little confused with our drink orders, but in his defense, he was looking after nine other tabled

Thought it was a lovely atmosphere and good service. Good food and wasn’t disappointed. Between entrees mains dessert and drinks. Ambience was great and just Loved the classic olden day vintage feel. Parking was easy and free with festival of foods.

Great food. Great service. More choices will be great when covid restrictions are lifted.

We opted for the tasting menu, the food was fabulous very creative and modern both in flavour and presentation. The waiting staff were excellent very friendly and efficient. The only thing stopping the 5 star rating is the place itself. It is very old and dated and you feel at times like you are sat in the middle of a function and not a fine dining restaurant, this is due to the restaurant being part of the entrance and bar.

Had a shared platter with a glass of wine. The combination of foods was amazing. I am now curious of main meals. Will deft check them out next time.

This was our second time at the Playford Restaurant for Christmas lunch. The welcome was perfect, the table service throughout the meal was outstanding, and the food, including the vegetarian meal was also delicious. One of our group was unable to attend due to the bushfire in the Adelaide Hills, and we asked for a selection of the meal to be packed so we could take it with us to our friend. The staff handled this request perfectly, but the chef decided that they could not do justice to the presentation of the courses as take-away, and we were offered a full refund without even needing to ask. In addition,we were given a petit fours to take to our friend, and as we were leaving, the senior manager on duty made a point of checking with us that we were happy with the way this situation had been handled. Overall, a very professional but relaxed and enjoyable Christmas lunch.
