Cosy restaurant located right next to Civic Park of Tea Tree Gully. Friendly staff and service. Food was served in generous portion. We will definitely come back to try the burgers.

No table service in a restaurant that is far from cheap, the food came out on a metal tray with paper under the the food so when you start cutting you get soggy paper in your mouth. The food was ok at best not overly flavoursome, probably won’t return if I’m honest. Good points, Good wine list Good deserts If you want good smoked food go the low ‘n’ slow port Adelaide, miles better food and cheaper and you actually have someone taking your orders

Not a cheap place to eat, but the burgers are really good and worth the money. Always friendly and service is good. Their breakfast was really filling and really nice. A really good place to treat yourself on a Sunday morning.

I booked over three weeks ago for 15 people and 1 small child with a high chair. I was told by the person who took the booking they would try to place us all together by putting the tables together. At no time during my booking or on another occasion when I telephoned was I asked if I wanted to be seated inside or out. When we arrived I was advised we were to be seated outside. When we directed to our seating it contained a bar table and bar stools. I requested if it was possible for us to be moved. I was advised this was the only table available. I asked for the high chair. Unfortunately the high chair was only half way up the bar table and the young child would be unable to see his Mother or the other guests. I did ask if we could be moved a a lower table and was informed that was not possible because there were no other lower tables available. When the Mother and child arrived she also was unhappy with the seating. She also requested a move to another table which also was declined by staff. Five people on each side of the table is too many. one guest had to move away from the table to eat. I do not blame the staff who attended to us today. They were doing the best to be helpful. I would suggest that Management train their staff who take the bookings to check if the patrons would like to be seated inside or out and also, if they had objections to be seated at bar tables and stools. No apology by Management was made today. I will not be returning nor would I recommend a visit the the Pickled Duck.

No vegan options! Went there for breakfast and the only thing I was able to order was orange juice and coffee. The menu clearly said “vegan options available” and what I was offered was “you can have the poached eggs on toast without the egg and the toast” FYI Management a vegan option is not removing the “meat” from a dish! A vegan option is a dish CREATED without meat in the first place. Service, atmosphere and parking is all good. Just don’t go if you are vegan and you want something to eat.

Really good food. Overall a good experience, and with only medium full space it felt quite chilled out. Not sure this would be when full. Kids loved it but their chips didn't come with sauce... so after spending $130, I had to pay some more for a little cup of sauce.
