The Modern Australian

I Went to the modern Australian last Saturday Night and could not fault the place. The place had such a cool decor with an awesome feel good atmosphere mixed with delicious cocktails its the perfect place to have a few drinks with friends or a fun date night. The twist on much loved cocktails add a whole new experience when picking what to drink. I would 100% recommend this gem to anyone heading up to high street.

Amazing food and service, well balanced, great wine, will be back to try more things on the menu!!

A classy establishment. The decor has a natural charm, well presented, with appropriately soft lighting. Both venue and menu carry a consistent theme of refined quirkiness. Serves some of Melbourne's finest original cocktails, characterised by simple elegance. The meals here are exceptional, you will enjoy.

Waiting for a dinner reservation across the road and figured we'd pop into The Modern Australian. Their eye catching back bar was magnificently filled with great spirits. Will be coming back to try and get through their whisky collection.

Cute little bar with variety of drinks! Had some good recommendations from the waiter! It’s a cute vibe for a first date! The interior decoration is amazing!

Quality meals at this place - very good. I should have took a photo of the food but it was too good to interrupt. I had a cousin come into town and asked me to take him back here.

Came in with my wife on the weekend and loved everything about this place. Cocktails and atmosphere were spot on and staff were friendly.
