We went there today for the first time. This is a great shop for anyone who loves honey. There are soany honeys to select from. You will probably have difficulty selecting just 1 jar. They also have wine tasting station and a little cafe on the side. The staff are helpful and seem friendly enough. They have free tasting station to help you select the right honey. All in all good experience. Parking might be an issue for a big crowd.

What an amazing place! Plenty of option for honey for sure. Not only that soap and body care too. Tea, coffee and cakes are available to enjoy the day. And also they have mead! Alcohol and non-alcohol. Thanks to Jane for her assistance to us.

The honey ice cream was surprisingly good. Skeptical at first, it truely impressed me with the uniqueness it brought with the small honey comb pieces and warm-almost medicinal- sweet liquid gold that the bees made. Shop was nice also and had a live bee display. Honey product options were endless and had mead tasting. Delicious but remember to bring a driver if you're tasting mead else you'll likely exceed the blood alcohol limits(shows how delicious it is)

The honey spider is incredibly tasty and well made. The range of tasters in the honeys are varied and very interesting. The watermelon infused honey will confuse and delight your tastebuds. I also loved the mead tastings. The staff knew what she was talking about and offered me agreeable options. Will 110% be going back.

Even though it was an overcast and rainy day, the excellent staff made the visit welcoming and warm. Got to see the bees on display despite the weather great products to purchase. Looking forward to visiting on a sunny day.

Beautiful spot for honey lovers. Cute tea house to the side, with ice cream and honey cake available. I recommend the Meade tasting if you've a sweet tooth 😋 and I never leave without a jar of my favourite honey! Sample for yourself!

What a lovely find! Decided to stop at the House of honey and boy were we in for a treat! the most amazing honey, with the most knowledgeable hostess Sonia (sorry if I spelt it wrong) we had a really informative education on the bees and the honey, it was so cool to learn so much in such a short time. We bought so many different honey’s too, and the Shiraz Mead was delicious too! Will definitely be coming back for more! Oh and the coffee and honey cake was delicious too! Don’t just drive past! Do stop and get some delicious honey, you’ll be happy you did!

Lovely place to visit in the Swan Valley. Lots of different varieties of honey and mead to sample. Great for gifts too. So pleasant sitting in the sun and having a cup of tea and some food from the Cafe.

Description

The House of Honey proudly specialises in raw, pure, unpasteurised and unadulterated varietal honeys. We harvest honey only when our bees have capped the cells allowing the honey to fully ripen and mature into an exceptional taste. The House of Honey has many apiary sites within West Australia’s pristine forests. These are leased from the Department of Parks and Wildlife. We travel far and wide to harvest and showcase some of the best honey this state has to offer. The beehives are moved at night to ensure all the bees have returned from the field. They are moved to different locations depending upon availability of nectar -mostly pristine native bush land populated by our many different Eucalyptus species. Each of these floral species have their own unique flavour - all of which are available for tasting. Some of these honeys lend themselves to further infusions - such as Lavender, Chilli, Cinnamon, Vanilla and Truffle - which further tempt the taste buds.
