The Henchman

We hosted an event here in the back garden for 80 people and we had a great time. The venue was very accommodating to our requests and the night went smoothly. I liked the fact that because our event wasn’t catered, the attendees could easily buy their own food and drink through a QR code on the table or at the bar. Heaters and blankets were setup for the cold evening, and there was space for us to put up a flower wall. We will use The Henchman for our next event!

The food and the staff are always great but the menu is less than great.

First time visit. Easy booking process online. Was seated quickly and given cold water. Food/drink ordering is done via a QR code with prepaid ordering - brilliant. Ordered a soft drink and milkshake with sandwich for lunch. Bit of confusion with the drinks, in regards to when I got them and the milkshake said it had ice cream in it but didn’t appear to have ice cream. Tasty sandwich and chips are delicious - special seasoning 🧂

Highly recommend this cool venue. Great attentive and friendly service. The açai bowl was fresh, generous and bursting with flavour. My partners scrambled eggs were creamy, accompanied by perfectly cooked salmon. The coffee was nothing short of outstanding-yes coming from Melbourne coffee drinkers! Loved the surroundings and cannot wait to return.

We booked the The Henchman for our wedding and had full use of the entire venue. We looked at other wedding venues but the Henchman was our choice due to the location, layout and atmosphere. Looking back on the day the team at the henchman are second to none! We felt fully supported by the owner Jared, and felt he was open to all our suggestions for his space for our day. Bridgette, the event organiser at the henchman was amazing - personable, professional and detailed. We had a rough idea of how we wanted the day to run and she fine-tuned the details and put our minds at ease. She had our entertainment, food choices and timeline all locked down and ensured the evening ran smoothly. We had a taste testing with the head chef Dan who came up with a great selection to choose from. So many of the guests have said how impressive the food and service was. The Henchman made our day the most memorable day, absolutely stress-free and great value for money. Brett and James

I highly recommend this venue for any occasion. The staff are super helpful and friendly - as of the food it is always amazing. The Henchman is truly a standout and you are guaranteed to have a great experience 5 stars!

Such a cool cozy place, coffee are great, food are yummy. Pet friendly. Staff are friendly. Their acai smoothie are amazing. Definitely my favourite place.
