Haynes Street Larder

I have been there many times but once there was a mix-up with my order and the food didn't come out straight away. Instead of a simple apology, they were very apologetic and gave me a full refund without even asking for it. The staff were very apologetic and professional! It was refreshing to see some good old fashioned quality service. Keep up the good work!

So glad i found a proper coffee place. Small and quaint, but superb coffee. Friendly staff and slightly hard to find due to minimal signage.

BEST fruit toast around and PLENTY of food options for vegans. Reasonably priced. Not a lot of seating inside (can get a bit cramped when busy, so not good for groups) however there is some public street seating available outside. This is the "sister shop" (same owners) of the popular Jack and Jills just down the road a bit (same side, within walking distance)

For years I've had their latte which is great but was encouraged to have a black coffee with coconut and cardamom, except they dropped in so much cardamom that the first sip left me spinning. I explained to a member of staff and she fobbed me off with a shrug of her shoulders. Oh well I'll have to try one of the other cafes on Haynes now 😀
