Charming.

Lots of people for the football. Nevertheless, food and drink service was quick and very well organized. Peri peri chicken burger with fries, steak and all meals in our group of 10 were delicious.

This is a great pub, however very surprising that even though it’s based in Carlton they’ll show a Melbourne based game (Carlton v Essendon) on the small TV and instead play the WA derby on the big screen (Freo v West Coast)? The pub was packed and there were lots of unhappy local AFL fans… I wouldn’t have gone to watch the footy there if I had known this would happen.

The Great Northern has such a lovely atmosphere, with such good staff and offers so many fun activities that you can almost forget that the food is kinda ordinary. It wasn't always this way, but it is now.

Great beer tap list and delicious food. Very nice venue with an extensive outdoor area and super friendly staff

Good service - whether a Friday night or a Sunday wedding reception.

This Carlton pub which plays all the AFL games will play the Western Derby over any Melbourne Team based home game. They also don’t advertise what games they’re going to be playing on their social media so you get what you’re given. I would recommend going to a TAB instead if you want to see any Sport.

Awesome pub for a full day session. Staff are friendly and helpful and the food and booze are top notch 🙌

Really good food, the place was a bit mum filled and lots of kids but that cleared up by late afternoon. I love the dog friendly atmosphere
