We attended a birthday party for a friend's son, and the overall experience was so poor that I'd give zero stars if I could. * Air-con wasn't effective at all, and since it was quite a humid summer evening most guests were sweating throughout the party. * Food was above average, but served with no presentation. It looked like it was transferred from cooking pots to serving dishes and placed directly on the tables without any serving spoons. * Drinks jugs were not being re-filled unless you'd specifically request the staff to do so. * There seemed to be an extreme shortage of drinks glasses, paper cups and serviettes. * Service was atrocious as once the entree/food was served, there were no staff around to serve drinks, etc. * Naans were stone cold, rubbery and hard to chew/swallow, while all drinks (including water) were warm. * And finally, to save the worst for last, some lights and the air-conditioning were switched off while most people were still eating the main course. And then, more lights were switched off while the guests were still getting ready to leave, and at one point all lights were switched off for a couple of seconds while there were still around 25-30 guests in the hall (with kids). Overall, there weren't too many positives to take away from this experience, except for the fact that the function hall itself was well presented and the food was above average.

A good meeting place. Probably food better in a non function situation. A challenge to eat a quarter of a salad sandwich a penne pasta dish and a version of fried rice and some sort chicken thing. ...would suggest a much cheaper meal rather than a traditional Indian meal....which is sad but being positive may not be indicative of their normal traditional menu. But the far more important thing is the state of the ladies loo which was appalling. The staff are friendly and keen to serve and given time this restaurant may improve.

I had a great experience with whole team of The Grand Merion Very neat and tidy, it's a complete function center, we booked a workshop here for Ayurveda marma, people who attended were very happy with the presentation and hospitality of team. It's a perfect place for all the communities I will strongly recommend

Wonderful Restaurant!!!!!!!!!!!!!.. We hired the Whole Restaurant for my son's Birthday. Excellent food and service. They also packed few containers of food at the end of the party for us and our Guests. They have put an extra effort and have taken their set up and presentation to next level comparing to today's restaurant business... They are stating out door caterings now...

Owner took all money in advance for 120 people and serve food for only 70 people. Extremely unfaithful and unprofessional people. Not every one have enough food.. .

I am really surprised to see many people had given 5 stars for this...seriously...!!!,😬. I went to attend b'day party and the food was so bad that it tasted like some sort of ancient medicine and the funny thing is I had to wait 20min to get my hands on the Nan which was cold and hard. Staff failed to serve all the starters and have to remind them before you get it. Overall in my opinion it's NO GO ZONE!!

Not very good experience unfortunately!!! Disappointed with customer service, halfway lunch all guest were literally waiting for half an hour to get the nan bread on the plate When he served it , it was not fresh.Seriously?? He will promise something and serve the plate with whatever ingredients available in the kitchen. We felt that he has enough customers and can't bother anymore now Go there if you want to ruin your function!!!

Terrible experience attending nephew's birthday party. Highly disappointed with customer service, Lunch was served late & halfway all guests waited for Nan bread for longer than half an hour. When enquired with staff about owner, staff mentioned owner went outside to arrange it. If you looking forward to book this venue, I wouldn't recommend
