Amazing place to stop for coffee and to pick up some pies / baked treats. Huge selection of food available to eat in or for takeaway. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating available. We had coffee which was excellent, and a vanilla slice- so good. We took home sons meat pies and a family size apple pie. Both beef and chicken pies were sensational, and the apple pie was incredible! The sausage rolls and doughnuts both looks amazing too - will try those next time. Highly recommended!

Great food and coffee. The Cronut could be more flakey and have more sauce (tad dry), but overall the pies and coffee were great.

Was charged $19 for this pizza roll. No signage for what the cost of this item was. Pies are about $8.50 so wouldn't have assumed this would be the cost of this pizza roll. When I queried the cost the server insisted it was correct. There was a massive line and the teenage servers seemed stressed, so I let it be. Asking for a refund would have probably taken even more of my time when I was already incredibly annoyed.

I struggle with Johnny Ripe. Been trying it on and off for years. The food always looks good but always seems to be missing flavour. Not sure how a long and slow cooked pie filling can end up so bland. Maybe it is just me.

This is my favourite pie place in the whole of Melbourne! The pastry is buttery and the chickens fillings are chunky and so flavoursome! Sausage rolls are awesome as well, along with the other pastries that are served there. The must go place if you visit Mornington and I can guarantee that you will not regret it.

Everything you love about Johnny Ripe’s old location is here but with lots of seating. We visited on a weekday so no cronuts but everything else was on offer and tasted delicious!

Great pies and pastries. A little pricy and the coffee is overly creamy, but we stopped here for breakfast and lunch three or four times over a long weekend.
