152-158 Clarence St 2000, Sydney
Best Sunday Roast ever
Great inner city pub!!
Loved it
Great vibe
The Duke of Clarence is a cool little English style pub thatβs hidden away down a dark alley on Clarence Street. There is no signage on the street which makes it difficult to find but that adds to the charm of the place. It is definitely a very cool hidden bar in Sydney. The staff are really nice and friendly and the food and drinks are decent.
Great drinks, good service, Sunday roast left a lot to be desired. Gravy tasted like packet mix, crackling on my roast pork nearly broke my teeth like trying to eat a piece of acrylic, the pork itself was poorly seasoned, potatoes were overcooked and very average. The parsnip side was the best thing there. Also I had heard good things about their bread and butter pudding but they didn't have any that day, despite it being on the menu.
Best Sunday Roast in Sydney. No wonder that there are waiting lists of 4 weeks for this place. Book in advance! Great Irish Coffee's too.
Really nice place! Huge selection of whiskies, whiskeys, cognacs, gin, beer etc. looks like they got it all! Warm and cosy atmosphere. Definitely will come back many more times! Recommend!
Sunday roast, Guinness and an Irish whiskey flight. I'm a lucky man. Thanks for the hospitality Clarence team.
A proper English pub with great selection of beers , spirits and wines. Sunday roast is amazing . Any British and Irish mate missing home should head to the Duke
