Recommended by a friend, so called in today to have a large flat white. Very friendly service and the coffee was very nice, you must check this wonderful place out. Looks like some delicious items on the menu that I am keen to try out next time. Probably the crepes. Special thanks to Maddi for looking after us so well. Looking forward to experiencing again the character and charm that this little cafe exudes. Give them a try... Well here I am again, this time for a delicious coffee and a delightful scone with jam and cream. Fantastic service again, well worth a try.

A charming, homely interior, supported with lovely staff, good coffee and great food. We actually arrived here by accident; rest assured, we'll back!

Had yet another lovely meal here today. The food is always deliciously good and the service is so warm and friendly. My Tuscan chicken with mash and asparagus and the chicken curry that my son ordered, were both super tasty! The Drop In Cafe is a gem.

A delightfully quirky charm. The owners are truly lovely people, and the food is delicious. Great coffee and cakes to die for. A perfect spot for a catch up with girlfriends.

A hidden gem in Boronia! From the moment you walk into the Drop In cafe, you know you are stepping into somewhere different. The decorative pieces are a combination of kitsch, whimsical, retro, classical with lashings of pop culture moments. Each trinket and piece of serving ware 'shouldn't' go together, but they do. It may be mismatched, but it's cohesive. We were treated to a high tea for two. For the price point, this was incredibly good value. The high tea platter maintains its traditional fare but with added twists.Β I understand that menu items vary based on what's in stock, which means there is innovation.Β It would be unfair to specify what I did have, because you might not get them the next time. The tea selection however, is consistent and extensive. As mentioned, the servingware is quite the treat. I also took home a vanilla slice for my friend's parents and they loved it. Creamy vanilla filling, flaky pastry. One of the better vanilla slices they've had. I wasn't expecting to enjoy the Drop In as much as I did, but it's definitely worth a visit. In an food scene where High Tea can get feel dated, the Drop In stands out.

Quirky little cafe that has an amazing array of teas, but also offers a great latte. A smaller, simple menu that is produced with love and care. The Drop In is our favourite local gem.

A true local gem. Had a Granola and their portion of mixed berries were generous. The servings are not big but perfect sizes to prevent food comas.

The crepe with bacon, sunny side up egg and sugar(?) was quite amazing. I loved the nicknack style.
