The Diplomat Rose Bay

The newest brunch spot in Rose Bay that offers Modern Australian breakfast and lunch. They also serve modern Thai fusion cuisine for dinner. Food was tasty and every dish was beautifully presented! My favourite dishes were the fish tacos and the ponzu mushrooms. Definitely recommend to check this place out :)

An exceptional modern Thai fusion dinner. I was very impressed by the unique creative touches to more casual Thai dishes, really elevating them to another level. The sous vide lamb cutlets were so tender, juicy and deliciously herby, and I loved the chewy texture of the pad thai soba noodles accompanied by beautiful chargrilled king prawns. The duck curry also stood out with authentic flavours and all the dishes were a great serving size. A truly impeccable dining experience and I'd highly recommend visiting!

Had breakfast at the diplomat today, the coffee was lovely and food was superb! I would highly recommend getting the truffled eggs benedict, really delicious and well priced. The staff were very friendly and the service was fast. Will definitely be coming back as the menu is extensive, I’m looking forward to trying everything there. I think I’ve found my new favourite cafe 😊

Great new addition to the Rose Bay cafe scene. Food is tasty, well presented and creative. Service was a bit slow but that's to be expected on the busy opening Sunday.

Just had breakfast here and what can I say the food was beautiful service was quick and great quality Nat is a gentleman and his team are professional and well mannered great coffee and vibe great addition to the area definitely recommend some of the best breakfast I’ve had in rose bay for a long time.

As locals we thought we would go try out and support the new business on the block... I wish we hadn’t. We ordered Avocado mash on toast. We got untoasted, soft bread, that became soggy with the weight of the toppings, the avo was sour bitter and nothing like the avocados I’ve eaten to date. On the description for the avo smash it states dusted with dukkah; the spice on those eggs were far from dukkah, it was overpowering and made the avo taste churn in your stomach. We asked for the bill and gave the waiter feedback re the poor bfast, we thought they would take it onboard but they listened and no manager or anyone else came out or apologised. Silence. And $56 (most exp bfast ive had in awhile!) later we are still hungry and feel sick from that grose avo taste!

Great service, good food, good location and for sure, I will come back again.
