The best American-style BBQ I’ve had and the friendliest service. They catered our wedding recovery party and it was an absolute hit. Wish we could do it all again! Thanks so much

Having spent time in Texas and subsequently having eaten a lot of BBQ, I like to think I’m a bit of a smoked meat connoisseur. The Butcher and Cook stacks up against the best easily. Everything was delicious and a tear came to my eye when I looked back to our meat platter and realised my boyfriend had finished it off without offering me anymore. Add on the fact that this place is BYO and you have an absolute winner in Byron Bay.

Out of all the places that we dined out in Byron, I was looking forward to this one the most ! And boy was I disappointed. The brisket had a great flavour but was barely warm at best and very dry . The ribs were just cold . The Mac and cheese was no better than easy Mac . There was zero social distancing in such a small venue . Very very disappointing

Website says they offer take away but no mention they have limited food or the need to pre-order. Thus it was a little frustrating to rock up to order some take away only to be told they've already sold out. Then the hostess wanted to smile and laugh it off. Thanks for ruining an evening and then rubbing it in my face.

Picked up a pack of the pre cooked oven ready portion of Pulled Pork for a quick and easy dinner that night. So easy, no fuss and ready in 15 minuets, was amazing, juicy and tender, just the way i wish i could cook it. Might try the brisket next but would be hard to pass upon the pork. Top stuff, couldn’t fault the mouthwatering BBQ or the great service. Just wish it was open every night!

My friend and I found this little gem randomly over social media. We were craving a good feed and some meat. It was the perfect platter for us together with amazing smoked meats, chicken, brisket and pulled pork. Would 100% recommend, next time I'm making sure we try the mac 'n' cheese

Great food! Loved it.

For a man that loves his smoke houses; This was a great find tucked away in the heart of Byron Bay. We shared the Ribmaster platter and were not disappointed. The Brisket stole the spotlight and stood out as the best melting away in the mouth. The chicken a succulent second. Sides balanced the meat feast nicely, but be warned, the Mac & Cheese is super cheesey. Pie of the day was pumpkin with Halloween just past. I could eat this everyday, it was sensational and we left wondering, we should have asked if we could have got a pie to take home.

Wow what a fabulous find. The coolest place with a groovy vibe and friendly staff. Generous serving of gorgeous roast meats that leave you licking your fingers and with a big full belly. Wonderful friendly staff and a truly cool atmosphere. Definitely BYRONS new place to be - from pulled pork rolls to succulent share plates of brisket and sausage this place is heaven on earth. Can’t wait to go back. What an incredible feed and amazing value. Loved it xxxxxx
