Great atmosphere, good music, great bar keepers and a reasonable price on drinks. Really enjoyed it.

It was great to be able to see some live music again (and dance!), and Expo 88 was super fun! The organisation at Brightside was not super great, with really long waits to get in to the venue and the bar ran out of soda water 30 mins before the band even took the stage... hopefully a learning experience for the next event, as the staff did seem nice.
