Fabulous service, excellent cocktails, stunning setting, food so so; nothing was terrible, a few weird flavour profiles which didn’t work; more just nothing was amazing. If the menu changes I’d give it another go.

Delicious food (the wagyu and pork belly skewers), although I wasn't a fan of the barramundi bao. My friends had wonderful drinks. Definitely on the pricey end (you pay by each serve) but worth it if it's for a special occasion.

We've been promising ourselves a night at Boom Boom Room the last 3 trips that we've made to Brisbane. As it turns out...it's true that the best things are so worth waiting for. This place is the living end! If I die after tonight...then I'll die very happy. The food is incredible so let's start there...every element of the food is so authentically considered. It was a whirlwind of exceptionally balanced flavours, textures and colour that had us looking at each other in amazement. The beverage menu is a journey in its own right and the cocktails truly are a highlight...so well balanced with unusual accompaniments that elevate well constructed classics to above and beyond. The decor is exquisite with stunning original features beautifully juxtaposed with Asian and urban influenced graffiti art. And then there was the wonderful Steph... Our culinary and beverage guide who took us metaphorically by the hand and guided us expertly and amusingly through the drinks and the food. Her service was attentive, expertly delivered and beautifully crafted...a true compliment to the expertise of the kitchen and bar. What a pro! This was a night I will never ever forget and will talk about for years to come. This place truly has it all. If I could give it 6 stars... I absolutely would. Thank you to the staff and to the kitchen for a deeply and truly memorable experience.

Dark and mysterious atmosphere with nice layout for seating. Staff is super friendly and with amazing knowledge to recommend food. We had Omakese banquet menu, the portion sizes were perfect! Great presentation and good quality of food. A great place to have girls night out!!

I held my birthday in the Trumpet room on the weekend. Matt and his team were amazing! They kept us well looked after all night. Great food, delicious cocktails and a great vibe!! Thank you Boom Boom team!

Beautifully crafted cocktails and a great venue space. The staff are always lovely and this is a great bar to head to before or after dinner. They do also have their own menu which I am yet to try but I can confirm the cocktails are amazing. I tried the Reiki Master which was served with pickled ginger to consume between sips. Honey, lemon and smoky flavours were paired to the whiskeys. Definitely one to try!

Amazing food, incredible service and outstanding cocktails. I was super impressed with how well and how in-depth the waitress knew the menu. The atmosphere within boom boom room was electric, bringing a new meaning to traditional Japanese. And a thank you to the men in the valet who I spoke to at the end. I’m definitely booking a valet private room next time I visit!
