The Boathouse Shelly Beach

Loved everything. A bit pricey though.

I had the honour of officiating a wedding yesterday during a crazy down pour. The staff were amazing and helped all the guest feel comfortable. They went above and beyond to look after everyone and especially the bride and groom. The tables were beautifully set in a sea theme with beautiful long tables. Highly recommend this venue ❤️

Stopped here for a late breakfast after walking around to Shelly Beach. It was pretty busy but very well organised and we were seated quickly. Staff were friendly and table ordering through Me&U made it quick and easy to choose and order. We had the Green Bowl and the coconut Bircher, both were very tasty. Coffee was also very good, looked like it was Single O which is one of my favourites. All in all an amazing spot right by the water, if you have never been then it’s well worth a visit.

Paid for our order and left then our table mates as we live way further away. They were told we hadn’t paid anything and were hit up for our bill and theirs and created a fight between them and us. We were also charged a cup of tea as a cocktail and it ruined my friends hens night. Looked like a stunning venue but I will never come back after this wretched experience and poorest of the poor customer service with two types of overcharging.

Lovely beachside setting. Nice concept. Food is fresh and coffe is great. Nice spot to catch up after a morning stroll along manly.

Have eaten here for breakfast twice on the past 2 weeks and both time have been great. The premises look out directly over Shelley Beach and inside is like a big open and airy beach house in the Hamptons. Food is great, not cheap but high quality ingredients are used in the dishes. Coffee is tasty but cups are on the small side so I recommend ordering a large size. It’s a bit chaotic when entering as you need to find your own table which can be a challenge as the place gets very busy from very early.

A good walk along the waterfront will bring you to the Boathouse. It overlooks a small beach with indoor and outdoor seating. Food is excellent. To place your order, you use your mobile phone's camera to photograph the disc on your table which will then display the menu from which you place and pay for your order.

This would have to be one of our favourite restaurants.... absolutely awesome food, drinks, service and overlooking beautiful Shelly Beach. Can't wait to return!!🥂😋⛱️🌞🌅😍

Loved eating here, amazing food, kind staff, beautiful atmosphere. Would definitely come here again, I loved the breakfast menu! You have beach on one side and lush greenery on the other. Definitely treat yourself to breakfast here.
