The Bavarians

This started as a three star review but was saved by Georgia who listened to our feedback and was empathetic and kind. Unlike the first guy who wanted to argue and prove us wrong. We had a valid point.

My friend and I wanted to try The Bavarian for something different on a Friday night. We thought it was a bit pricey, but wanted to try the food - it might be well worth the money! But, as you can guess by the rating, we were sorely disappointed. We both ordered a ‘make your own salad’. After 40 minutes of waiting, the salsas came out - and they were very lack lustre. I ordered mine with strawberries and I think there was one slice in the whole thing. There was no dressing on either salad. We attempted to wave a staff member down to ask, but could barley get eye contact with anyone. It was self service - order through the app - which made it hard to get staff attention. I had also ordered a pretzel as a side. After waiting another 20 minutes, I went up to ask where it was and it had been missed on the order. Which usually would be fine, mistakes happen, but after everything else, it was overall a very disappointing experience.

Went last night for the set menu & 2 hour drink package. The staff were fantastic, great service & very efficient! The food was amazing also! Thanks so much guys & will be back again in the future!

Requested a table for two without a booking and the host made out like it was a big deal. Half the restaurant was empty at this point. We eventually got led to a table in the dark corner even though there were so many nicer tables that remained empty the whole time we were there. For $10, the schnitzels were ok, but I would have hated to pay full price. As you can see from the pictures, the presentation is terrible and the Hawaiian was lacking in toppings. The giant pork schnitzel was actually smaller than the other schnitzel. You have to order on an app and pay a surcharge. The food took about 45 mins to arrive. A waitress came to collect our plates and did not ask one thing about our meals. In fact she did not say anything except “can I take these plates”? With my expectations now lowered, I might come back for another $10 special, but that would be it.

Amazing food, excellent service and a great atmosphere! Would definitely recommend dining at the Bavarian

We came here tonight and ordered the set menu. The drinks, starter and sharing plate came out quickly. However, we have been sat here for 20 mins with empty plates and no one came to clear them and bring our desserts. When I went up to ask, the waitress was confused that we even had desserts coming and we are still waiting for what we paid for. We aren’t impressed, it’s very quiet in here with mostly empty tables, it’s not hard to make sure your customers are looked after. We won’t be back again.

This restaurant has so many varieties of beer. Here is served traditional German food which is very tasty. Good atmosphere and absolutely great stuff

Poor service, lacking customer skills to handle busy rushes. Waited over an hr for a Salad and burger. No notice of wait periods beers took just as long to come out. We ended up having to ask for our money back due to unable to tell us an accurate indication of when the meals would be out after waiting over an hour.. Extremely disappointed. Wont be back

Amazing customer service. Came here by myself on Friday night for a quick dinner and had a great time for a solo dinner :) The waitress who greeted and seated me was super friendly, as were the other staff. The food and drinks were easy to order from my table and came out very quickly. It was busy at 7pm but not too busy or loud etc. The sausages were great, really tasty. Love their mash potato and sauerkraut. Definitely recommend this place as I had a nice time here. I'd come back. Thanks.
