Overpriced and really bad pizzas

What a lovely dinner! We ordered the sirloin steak and lychee mojito. The steak was cooked to perfection (medium rare) and the mojito was super refreshing. Although it was recommended to book a reservation during check-in, the wait time was less than 5 minutes. The staff who served us were really friendly, especially Dhano. I would highly recommend the Ascot, if you are staying at Rydges (Sydney Airport).

We ate at the Ascot six months ago and it was really nice so we decided when we stayed at the Rydges a few weeks ago to go back there for dinner. We were so disappointed. We ordered bread for starters and it was so stale we sent it back. We got no replacement, no apology, no explanation, when we saw the waiter again it was with our mains. We ordered the lamb same as last time. It was awful, a substandard meal and way overpriced. Will never eat there again !

Really nice food, I loved the lamb. Took a while for the food to arrive, but this was their first night serving food. Interesting flavours, nice atmosphere, large servings. Staff were great.

Good food & fabulous friendly staff especially Dhano & Arfe, the service was excellent.

Long queues to check in. Rooftop Bar- closed. Restaurant - closed. Down stairs bar packed, understaffed, slow and expensive. Close to international terminals
