One of my favourite Persian restaurants in town. If you’re coming with a group and wanting a great big meal, go for one of their feasts. Money well worth it for a meal that will definitely fill everyone up! Lunch specials are super worth it - good sized portions for only $9.90! If you’ve never had Tah-Dig, do yourself a favour and order one today; it’s rice with a crusted bottom mixed with pomegranate, shredded chicken and yogurt. My go to is always koobideh, spiced minced lamb grilled to absolute perfection and topped generously with sumac, served with rice and salad.

Food wasn't TOO bad however it was clear they used a microwave to heat up the food as I heard the microwave beep and also the meat came out cold. The biggest problem is we ordered the sultani and we received zereshk rice that was used with FOOD colouring NOT actual saffron for the rice which I felt was very deceiving as the restaurant is called taste of saffron. I know saffron very well and it had neither taste nor smell of saffron, clearly food colouring, what a joke. The meat taste is good but we were disappointed that it came out cold. This restaurant is one of those that you would go to once but never again.

This place is a culinary gem. Whilst the decor could do with some creativity, the food is divine and impressive. My recommendation is that you approach the place with an open mind and be adventurous, remembering it's Persian. Do not judge this book by its cover. I'm certain this place will not be a secret for too long.

They were so kind and nice all moment. Even if they are less nice than they do. It's okay. Cuz food is sooooo amazing. I will come back 2000% for sure .

It doesn't matter if you're Iranian or non-Iranian, if you want to experience a high-quality and delicious Persian food you'll have to try "Taste of Saffron" restaurant. And after that you'll become a regular customer. Thanks for the great and welcoming customer service. Keep up the good work 👍✌️

Chicken kebab is great, koobideh is fatty. Staff are nice. Area and vibe is so so. Car park is the only real downside

Total disappointment! We had booking and showed up on time. I was very embarrassed when I went there to introduce Persian kebab a non-Iranian person for the first time. Customer service was very unprofessional. They had only 2-3 dishes available and only one type of kebab from a long menu! Yet that only one had a TERRIBLE quality. Koobideh kebab was cold and I could tell it was cooked before and warmed again. Absolutely no taste. They had the courtesy not to charge us as I complained but it ruined the night for us. They need serious improvements both in customer service and food quality.
