Dear reader, simply put, avoid this place. Seriously. With its disappointing food with forgetful staff and erroneous service. You won't be missing anything except your precious time and money.
I'm unsure where to start when describing the unusual and atrocious dine in experience we have just been subjected to.
I'll start with entrance to the empty restaurant, a group consisting of five adults and one toddler. We were seated swiftly and given menus, though it took a further 10 minutes for a staff member to return to the floor so we could wave them down to request a kids menu. Luckily I had taken a drink menu from another table so we could decide our drinks. This action, thinking it would save us time ended up being complete waste as we had a further 25 minutes to look at the menus for someone to return to take our order.
Two of our party asked for vegan option dishes. One listed on the website as having a vegan option, the other a standard combination. We were told they couldn't make a vegan Enchilada Grande, so they asked for a combination too.
A further 10 minutes past when we were informed they were out of spinach and potato, but they had other vegan options. So we changed our orders to a burrito and a bean enchilada. Then again several minutes later we were told the enchilada could be made as a combination, but not the burrito.
Just over an hour after first arriving, 3 drinks were brought out. 15 minutes later and a kids meal arrived, then a few minutes later a main, then another few minutes a second main arrived. A further 10 minutes passed, after what I'm sure was when the kitchens gruelling hour long search for a bottle opener ended or just when someone with an RSA turned up for their shift, a beer and a margarita were brought to the table.
When the two vegan mains were brought out, well they weren't vegan, they were covered in cheese and sour cream. After asking the waitress if they were vegan she came back and told us the first waitress had not told the kitchen they were to be vegan despite writing it down and repeating it back to us during our order taking. Though, it had been an hour and a half, so I don't blame them for forgetting the order, I almost forgot why we were there myself. It was also at this hour and a half point when we were given some glasses and a bottle of water too.
They offered us to keep the dishes if someone else wanted them, no one did, then went off to make new ones. At this point we also wondered why the last main was still nowhere to be found. We questioned it when they returned with one of the vegan dishes and was told "sorry, it's on its way". They had completely forgotten that dish.
An hour and forty five minutes after first arriving we had finally received all our mains, the first of which finished theirs long ago.
I'd be more understanding if they were busy, but they weren't. I watched as three separate groups of two came, ordered, ate and left while we waited. With this current situation the world is in, it's become more of a special occasion to dine out at a restaurant. It's a shame we picked here though and wasted our night out.
We were also offered a free drink to make up for the wait, but we declined as waiting for anything else was the last thing we wanted to do.
I haven't even started on the cleanliness on the establishment either, I won't go in to too much more detail but just say the toilets were a mess and all floor surfaces seemed to be sticky, as if drinks had been spilled on them a hundred times and just left to dry in open air.
Our experience has been such a disappointment not only does it guarantee none of us will return to a Taco Bill ever again but I might not even ever have Mexican cuisine ever again. Writing a long review about a place and meal I did not care for may seem like a gigantic waste of time, it is, but sometimes I just like to waste my own time with the thought one person may read this and change their mind about visiting.
I'm sure SeΓ±or Bill would be extremely saddened and dissapointed.
