Went to Sweetwater Rooftop Bar for New Years Eve. Food was excellent, staff were excellent, venue was excellent and value for money was excellent. Would highly recommend.
Seats are too low to enjoy the view, prices are too high.
Came here for a birthday lunch and had the Yum Cha menu $45 pp. It was awesome! Everything on the menu was delicious, the dumplings especially incredible. We were very full by the ended! We had some cocktails which were fabulous and the service was excellent! Would definitely recommend!
A fantastic place! The service and overall experience provided by the FOH staff was superb, and they were very patient with my parents food intolerances and gluten allergy; which we had no issues with the entire night. Our drinks did take about 15 to 20 minutes to get to us though, which is understandable because of the event or party on. The main dishes tasted delicious. The dessert was good, although I did have the dark chocolate parfait which was meant to have some sort of cherry element, but was missing?? Which was sort of disappointing to finish on. Overall though, a good experience :)
Hosted a bottomless brunch at Sweetwater and it was sensational, the place is gorgeous! The food was brilliant, tempura oysters, sesame crusted cauliflower, Japanese rice cakes, salmon tataki.. everything was so tasty and cooked to perfection. The cocktails were also delicious and everyone was very impressed with the venue and service. Will definitely be back, thank you Sweetwater ❤
Awesome location, food and service
Unfortunately, the method of ordering we were asked to use by the staff, was scan QR code and order and pay for every round of drinks, nibbles, meals online. It was quite clunky process and removed any interaction with the venue about things like "what does this taste like?" or "what do you recommend?" so it removed the personality of the venue from our experience. Unfortunately, it also makes you spend a good portion of your time with your friends, looking at your mobile screen. Which is a pity. I appreciate the effort to bring service with reduced wait time and reduced staff. But this has ended up being a step backwards in service for Sweetwater in my opinion. Food is still good, but I won't be coming back again to pay that price for less service, I'll go to a pub for that
Food is always superb, and the cocktails are so tasty. Great service from the staff, taking into account some vegan and gluten free guests. Really great overall experience
Recommend the Saturday set menu and bottomless drinks. We did have a few times we had to search for the servers to get a refill but otherwise pleasant and reasonably good value. The Sunday brunch set we were a bit disappointed to find the same food without the drinks included. Not quite as good value. Great space, great decor, yummy drinks and tasty Asian inspired dishes.
We did the Hanging Yum Cha with Teapot cocktails. Delightful. Service and setting as lovely as ever. They seemed under the pump with service running a little slow, hence the 4 stars over 5.
