Good cafe, friendly staff

Very disappointed. This is the second time I called in for a long black on the way to Centenerary highway and there was no single origin coffee bean available. House blend was too harsh for long black. I will not stop again when passing by.

Really, really, REALLY delicious wholefoods for both vegetarians and meat-eaters alike - best chicken pie I have ever had, best salads too - and the coffee is top-notch as well! Wish we had a cafe this good in Tamworth, well done Dorrigo! Enthusiastic, friendly and super-fast service - it's a great cafe :-)

We had some burgers at Sweethearts Cafe after a 2 hours walk at Dorrigo National Park and it was the best decision ever! The service was awesome and had the best mushroom burger ever. I would definitely recommend having some nice burgers here.

The old lady serving was possibly the rudest woman I’ve experienced in hospitality. I’ve never felt uncomfortable ordering a meal before but that’s a first, many other nicer cafes to go to in dorrigo

If I could give a minus points for the stars I would.... The lady was the absolute rudest lady I've ever come across in hospitality. After reading the reviews we thought we'd give it a go,well that was mistake number 1... Because of covid-19 she asked customers to wait outside for their orders,but when ready she read out order from counter, clearly they can't hear as they are waiting outside the shop then she shoved their food in pie warmer instead of calling order out from front door... Come on a bit of common sense Then I proceed to order,not aloud to get my coffee in a take away cup to have in...really,you could save yourself in washing up .. Took a very long time for meals to arrive and it certainly was not busy.. Threw a dish cloth across the restaurant to the junior staff member to clean table... Didn't use tongs to get pies out of warmer.. yuck Meals arrive... Well it just went further down hill.... The slice out of the cabinet was rock hard,don't know how long it had been in there for.. Oh then the hair in my partners burger,well that should never ever happen... When taken to the kitchen they even questioned him...it's not like he put it there he's bald and now hungry.... Only ordered 2 rolls and a slice and was the biggest stuff up ever... Kitchen then shut up shop and closed cause he couldn't take the criticism.. Avoid at all costs.... Would never recommend this place
