Sushi Square

This is a little store for picking up sushi and associated foods. The offerings vary, but I have found the sushi here fresh and clean. The staff do their job, but are not great on customer service. Perhaps they are shy? Price is very reasonable. In a wheelchair you cannot reach the counter to pay, but you can point out what you need. Best of someone is with you to pay and collect your order.

Tried three kinds of sushi and they were not tasty at all. Teriyaki Beef Rice was rather a good choice and tasted delicious. Went back for it twice. Wonder why there's no vegetable served with it for sake of nutrition.

“Too busy” to make sashimi but no one else queuing.

On par with what you'd expect in these small sushi sites. May be good for kids who want a quick snack, or if you're not very fussy about your Japanese food. There is a variety of hand rolls and regular sushi boxes. It's not exactly authentic... Conveniently located right by the front and opposite Coles.

The sushi was extremely gross. All i could taste was nail polish remover. Tell me how i was tasting nail polish remover in a food store!! they shouldn't be painting their nails in there, it is unsanitary and unhygienic!! I expect full compensation for my time, and my tastebuds. Sincerely, never coming again!!

I bought the salmon bento box for takeaway to realise it was just white rice with a can of tasteless tuna on top, not even soy sauce! That should never be called a bento box. The girl at the shop is so distracted and short though it was dead quiet! The salmon looked black, life beef and I asked is this just salmon or mixed meat and she yelled rudely and impatiently it’s only salmon! Once at home it was so bland and tasteless and salmon or tuna or whatever it was looked very unhealthy I put it away in trash!

Good food and good prices in the East Villa shopping mall. At the end of the day they usually offer what's left with a huge cut of the prices.
