Sucre du jour

Refined, beautiful and delicious! Have ordered cakes from here twice now, once to dine in and more recently to take away. The Mont Blanc cake is particularly lovely. I like how the cakes I have tried are not overly sweet - just the right amount of sweetness! Look forward to trying the other items on the menu.

Nice French pâtisserie serving great crossaints with filling. Highly recommended the ones which I posted with pics. The Pandan, Lychee & Rasberry crossaint. The taste profile just amazes you & makes you wonder how could these taste combine ,taste so good.

These desserts are absolutely delicious, the flavours and textures work so well with each other and they are so meticulously put together they’re almost too pretty to eat. I came in on a Saturday afternoon, they helped me pick out 5 mini cakes and they were all delicious. I’ll have to come back for the bruffins!

Got my hands on these last week. ❤️: How can you not get excited over such amazing babka flavors like Matcha & Black Sesame Babka with Raspberry Seed Jam. Also had to get the Cereal Bruffin with vanilla mascarpone diplomat, macadamia and cornflake praline, and caramelized popcorn.

We received some lovely treats from our neighbour who travelled a long way to camberwell sucre du jour. Noir is so good, I love the crunchy chocolate base, layers of mousse and chocolate Centre. Very well balanced, lots of texture. Definitely a nice treat for anyone looking for high quality sweet treat.

Amazing little place run by the friendliest bunch of people. The dessert selection isn't much but they focused on churning out quality desserts instead of quantity. Very reasonably priced too.

If you're a fan of pork floss then you must try out the Pork Floss Babka, and Candied Pork Jerky and Pork Floss Croissant. The former is paired with palm sugar spread, giving it a rich caramelised sweetness, while the latter is a delicious mix of smoky bold flavour of the pork jerky and buttery croissant. The Cereal Bruffin and Portuguese Egg Tarts are not to be missed too - amazing flavours and love the flaky pastry. Definitely will be slowly working my way through the menu ❤️

Been hearing about this patisserie lots and decided to pop in. We went at around 3pm and was pleasantly surprised to see a reasonable selection of pastries left. We got the kopiko egg tart and the gianduja and earl grey chocolatine. The pastry was perfectly flaky 👌. Top notch service and got a warm welcome by the owners. Got the chocolate and hojicha babka for more yum yums tonight. Please come and visit, you will not be disappointed!

- Pista-Choux - Matcha Flan 🍵 🍮 - Portuguese egg tart 🥚 - Raspberry cake? 🍰 This is a patisserie that I have been longing to try. In my opinion, most of the things we ordered were a bit too sweet for my liking (I have an Asian granny tastebud 👵🏻👅). The choux pastry itself was great but the whipped mousseline was too heavy. The matcha flavour of the flan was subtle but texture was great. I enjoyed the rapsberry cake although I forgot what’s inside. It was a refreshing dessert. Having said that, I still wanna try their bread. The babkas, crossiants and bruffins looked superb!!!!

excellent cakes and baked goods, certainly one of the best in the area in my opinion. well worth a visit.
