The food was delicious. Had a burger and absolutely loved it. Cool place to get drunk with mates but if you are looking for a quiet place with your date, avoid it during game nights the crowd can be overzealous for their team's support.

Love it, my fave bar

I had an awful experience at Verandah Bar tonight. After visiting here 4 times in 8 weeks after extraordinary experiences, tonight was a clear departure from that. The wait staff could care less. They were unfriendly, had no eye contact and dismissed my concerns. I will not come back again. They ruined the experience for me and my friend.

What a great Engagement party the Strathmore helped us put on last Friday. Thanks to the team there! All staff were really accommodating and so friendly. Nothing was too much trouble and the food was amazing. I would highly recommend this as a function centre and my nephew is now having his 21st there. A great setup and looks amazing since the renovation. Cheers to the Strath!
