This review is regarding poor communication that ruined our planned evening, resulting in cancellation the day before. I have never dined at this restaurant, and probably never will now. Booked 3 weeks prior for Mother's Day dinner and was really looking forward to it (as I have never tried this place before), hoping that it would make a great evening for my wife. Received a text message confirming my booking, which, to this point is normal. However, got a nasty surprise when I read the following: "This is to confirm your reservation at Steak Ministry tommorrow, we are ONLY doing a 3 Course set men for $99 per head, children under 10 for $25, to change or (message cuts off)" Bear in mind, this is the DAY BEFORE (today) the actual booking. I did not receive any communication until today that this was the case. Heck, if we're stuck with only one choice on Mother's Day, I wouldn't have booked to begin with! So now off to find an alternative with less than 24 hours left. Is it too difficult to state something so crucial on your website and/or confirmation e-mail?? Let's also not forget that the e-mail even has a section that says "SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT 9 MAY" for god's sake! And you didn't think it was important enough to mention it here?? It feels like a shameless way to squeeze maximum amount of cash per head from well-wishing folks who just want their wives/mums to have a wonderful meal. To make it worse, this is done just the day before, which leaves us either scrambling for an alternative or simply accept the predicament you've put us in (intentional or not, but it sure feels like it). VERY DISAPPOINTED - YOU RUINED OUR EVENING

$50 for coles quality scotch fillet and sauce with layers of oil on top. Doubt it was even 300g. The other reviewers that share the same experience and comments are absolutely right. Only came here because everywhere else is booked on a special occasion. Don't bother even if you craving for steak.

Amazing steak and had the lobster special.....OMG, cannot remember the last time I had live Lobster.... Wine list is awesome ,specially if you love Italians or something special from Argentina.

I cannot recommended this restaurant enough. We had an amazing experience. Our F1 rump steaks were prepared to perfection along with our chosen sides of truffle mash, tsm chips and veges. The personalised service given by Rab from presenting the steak cuts options to decanting our wine was genuine and knowledgeable. For an early sitting the restaurant was full and at no point did we not feel valued

Sooo I have lived in the area for a while now, and have always walked past this place and tonight I decided to give it a go, Unfortunately on this occasion it's a miss for the food and service, first off I was greeted very poorly at the door by a waitress who seemed interested in her Job and felt like she wanted to be else ware. Then the food arrived and while the steak was good, the pepper sauce on the other hand is basically like eating a layer of oil and had very little pepper. The fact that I had to season the sauce myself speaks volumes... I unfortunately won't be back

I had to see lamb ribs and steak were beautiful and tasty. A hidden gem in Glen. On a flip side, one of the waitress came to clear our table when I was definitely not finished and the cos garden salad was whole lettuce served which was shocking

Super slick service and each course was beautifully prepared and presented. Highly recommended!
