We went to lunch at 2:30 on a Friday and the setting was perfect with the winter sunset. a warm welcome. We enjoyed the food. Service was random. We poured our own wine...how is that possible with a small room and staff? Not fine dining. But good for a visit.

Delicious, top-quality food in a fantastic location, on the cliff top above the beach and the site of the wreck of the ship it is named after. Traditional dishes such as steak and King George Whiting are cooked to perfection, starters such as belly pork or squid are at the highest standard for the State, and probably the country. Desserts and wine list are equally top-notch. Service is friendly and personal, and all staff have a detailed knowledge of menu and wines. Booking is essential, and there are tables outside and in, all with amazing views across the sea. The restaurant also run a "kiosk"service with outside seating during the day, serving fish and chips, squid, breakfast naps, coffees and more, all to the same standards as inside - check the website for opening days, and especially in case of inclement weather.

The view is spectacular. Just like being in the Greek Islands with turquoise water and a rugged cliff backdrop. What makes it better is the fantastic food and an incredible wine list to match. This place is magic and should not be missed on your next visit. Take a swim after lunch to work off that dessert you didn't need!

Location, location, location this has definitely got it. I think I was expecting to see a Greek menu but was pleasantly surprised it was quite a diverse menu. The food was very good but not exceptional for a fine dining venue. We enjoyed our lunch and the atmosphere was pleasant.

Beautiful spot however arrived at sunset and it was just closing. Having dinner at sunset here would have been magical. Although under renovation the inside is dull and univiting. Has great potential however is just a cafe by the water. Pity.
