Star Hotel Albury

This us a traditional type pub with the tradies loving and frequenting it. The meals are average priced and huge in size, just massive. The quality and taste however is average. Customer service is also average. There is a pokies room and a massive outdoor screen in the outdoor area. Parking is hard to get easily and a shirt walk may be required. They have a really good two-up set up on Anzac Day out the back if you are looking for somewhere to go. Average meal at an average pub.

Food is delicious and very large servings. Atmosphere was nice and relaxed. Staff were excellent- friendly and helpful. Will visit again.

We came here on sunday 15:00 and they had no food, so we just ordered some beer and soft drinks, a bit disappointed, but i like the place and atmosphere, and the lady was friendly

The layout of the Star has been well thought out . Good size dining room with fire place. Heated undercover outdoor area. Large public bar & TAB. Very good size and priced meals. Friendly staff. Would recommend for a meal or quiet catch up drinks.

The staff are friendly, and the place is clean and tidy. Highly recommend as either a drop in for a drink, or a stay

Went for dinner, great size meal, friendly staff. I had chicken Kiev, it was a frozen product and very dry. Garlic butter in the middle dryer that a nuns #@¥₩. Should have made then from scratch or bought nice ones from Hazeldenes instead of frozen. Should have made a garlic butter to put over the top of the crumb. I think it should have been served on mash to hide the dryness. They can do better im sure. Very nice pub.

Food was delicious. Atmosphere was friendly. Very impressed on our first visit to the Star
