Easily my favorite spot in Melbourne. Brilliant service, coffee, food and vibe. The team is amazing and always brightens my day when I go in for a coffee and a chat. The owner is alright too!

We had breakfast here this morning. We were seated quickly and our waitress, Anna, was lovely. The food was delicious, and so was the coffee. Would definitely recommend St James. Thanks for the amazing service, Anna!

Food was great really enjoyed our time. Location was okay, Richmond type restaurant. Coffee was good. We booked, but I dont think you need to book before going in. The only problem were the waitresses, they forgot our orders! After 45 min I asked what is going on, they said its coming, then I saw them talking to eachother and it seemed they forgot our order!, we did not receive ANY apology for delay! we arrived at 11 and were served at 12! they just told us thanks for the patient we are busy that is why it took 1 h to serve! They were not very busy and many people around us came after us and left, we were still waiting for our food! our coffee arrive after 50 minutes! Also we asked for extra toast, took 7 min to bring! they were not short in staff, the waitresses didnt really care! I go to lots of restaurants and these things happens! I understand that, but at least be honest!

Great food and service and the team welcomed our group of 6 Seeing Eye Dogs in training. Thank you for making us feel so welcome.

One of the best coffeehouses in Melbourne.. clean and friendly environment.. great service and the coffee superb. Excellent breakfast and Lunch menus and wonderful staff.. Highly recommend a visit.. 🙂

Really cute little brunch spot! I've always found the staff to be really helpful and quick with service . The food is really good and quite large portions, a good things when your hanging out for brunch and even better with a sneaky glass of bubbles! Easy nice casual brunch spot for the weekend!
