Spit Shack Mitchell

This place is sensational! It has a great feel and a tonne of character throughout with the decor. The staff genuinely seem to enjoy conversing with the patrons and recommending some favourite dishes. My advice, follow the recommendations! I had a delicious roll recommended to me by one of the friendly and personable guys working there and couldn't have been happier with my selection! I could not fault any part of my experience there and will definitely be heading back again!

If you are hungry, head to the Spit Shack! They have a great variety of rolls, burgers, coffee and other tasty Croatian influenced food, such as Burek and Ajvar (vegetarian options included). They are open every day, except Sundays, from 7am. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the eat in section of the restaurant is quite spacious and comfortable. You can also get delivery through Deliveroo or Menulog.

We discover this place today and it is an authentic gem hiding in canberra, we love it genuine concept and food was amazing. Surely I will be back with my friends!

Nice food, bit pricey. Service could be better, asked the guy to cut my roll in half and he said we don't do that here...

Our Grandchildren really go for the loaded fries, their favourite go to when we go to Mitchell. Coffee is alright.

We had Burek and it was delicious. The burek guy is super friendly and great at his craft!
