Great food
Food so delicious the flavours keep bouncing around on your taste buds long after you've finished eating! Reasonably priced for the quality of the food served. Just wish there was a little bit more meat in the lamb gyros as ours had next to none. Only down side was how long it took to order our lunch & the fact that the line to order cuts right through the entrance of the restaurant. Needless to say if you want a second drink then it's too much hassle to line up for again.
AMAZING, haven’t even left the restaurant and need to write this review! Service was outstanding. Food - incredible Ordered a number of plates to share and couldn’t fault a thing. Food is authentic and cooked to perfection. So much flavour and Greek goodness. Loved everything. So happy with our Spero experience. Well done!!!
Tasty food. Good size meals to share. Friendly staff. Didn't have to queue for long. A little expensive especially on a public holiday. Limited wine choices.
Good food. We really enjoyed the dips and bread. The half chicken was very, very small. Nice atmosphere! No tea or coffee!!! It may be worth investing in the facilities to make tea and coffee. Apart from that all good.
Our favourite Greek restaurant. Excellent food and excellent service. Beautiful venue.
Nice food, more Greek inspired than actual Greek. Noisy and drafty and not a place for a nice cozy dinner. Not very organised if it comes too ordering at the counter because only one staff takes orders and then prepares the drinks while other patrons line up and watch til they are finished
Consistently 10/10 food. Laid back, casual service.
Another great lunch packed with so many options to choose from
The food was excellent, and plentiful. We had been a few times before, so the very loud night club music wasn't a surprise; still just out of place. Although we were there early the queue for food and drinks was out the door. The difficulty came when ordering food and drinks from a staff member with moderate to poor English vocabulary, even though we wrote our order down. "This will be interesting", we thought. Inevitably what was served was nice, but also incorrect. FYI the queues of people arise because Spero's don't take bookings, you just show up and hope you don't have to wait too long. Keeping this in mind, the waitress/server approached our table and said we needed to hurry up and finish because they had another booking for our table. How uncomfortable and distasteful I thought her to be, behaving in such a way. Our overall sentiment of Spero's is that you're supposed to try it once, then choose anyone of the other hundreds of places on the coast to dine at instead. Maybe go back when there's been staff changes and better reviews. Maybe?
