Personally didn’t like it much. The customer service was nice but the food wasn’t. Felt it lacked a lot of flavour and isn’t very authentic, to true Mexican food. Small portion sizes and price was high. Lots of room for improvement, also think it’s best to come in a small group (like 2 ppl).

Have been multiple time, lucky local for Mt Gravatt. All the taco options are super tasty!

Went with a large crowd and we all had a variety of tacos from the menu- all was absolutely delicious! The meat was mouthwatering and the salsas complimented it perfectly without overpowering. We will definitely be back so I can eat my way through the rest of the menu. Yum!!!

The service was amazing, the food, Sensational!!!!!! Give it a try you will not be disappointed.

Beef brisket tacos were awesome, very filling and flavours were perfect. Beef rib taco was okay, the tortilla was a bit dry on the edges, if the ribs had some salsa served on the side it would of enhanced the taco. We found it a little dry. The customer service was great and atmosphere was nice with a live band playing but sometimes the music can be overpowering so it was difficult to have conversations.

Attended with a group on a very busy Thursday night. Live music was a nice touch and seating was spaced enough to make a very busy place feel spacious. The tacos were delicious! Great mix of flavours and some interesting mixture of ingredients that work together perfectly. The BBQ Mafia sauce on the tables is the perfect compliment to add a little spice to the meal as well, I even bought a couple of bottles to take home. Highly recommend the Birria with a little of the sauce and the broth, amazing combination. Price is a little on the high side but having a mixture of four tacos I was very content so it felt worthwhile. Drink prices also a little on the high side and the cocktails looked a little small but the food is the real reason to be here.

Nice casual place to get some good barbecue. Not too hot, casual outdoor seating. Took off one star for flour tacos, and they could do with less meat & more salsa for the same price. But definitely a great new addition to S Brisbane.

This place is the real deal! Handmade tortillas paired with low n slow meat from a smoker. It doesn’t get better!

Came because of the article in the Chronicle. Atmosphere was great and staff were super friendly! I ordered the birria taco and it was a little bit plain. I was expecting something with lots of spice and flavour. I like the idea of combining texas smoked food with mexican food so I hope they can find the right formula!

I really enjoyed South Austin, the vibe and food together were exceptional! Was super busy on the Saturday night we went so ensure you have a booking to be safe. First off, the most upsetting aspect of our visit was the wait time. We waited 45 minutes for our meals. Understood it was busy, but it’s definitely unacceptable and wish we were notified/ checked up on to let us know that. Ordered from top to bottom: Birria, beef brisket and lamb tacos. Lamb was the winner for me, and beef brisket for my partner- super tasty. The birria was kind of flavourless, which was disappointing since I was most excited for it. We had a lovely woman serving us, however, when forgetting to collect our drink from the bar, the owner (I assume), served it to us and was a little condescending when explaining our mistake. Overall, If the food wasn’t as good as it was I would have rated significantly lower. The live music also added to the experience and made the wait time less agonising. We enjoyed our visit here and would recommend to others!
