Sofra Middle Eastern & Indian Cuisine

I have ordered adhana and herbi chicken. Order took around 30 mins. They mistakenly gave us food in takeaway packs. However, corrected their mistake immediatly and provided us with plates and cutleries. Food was good but grill was little dry. Given 4 stars for good food and excellent service.

The food here was fabulous. Didn't know if we would find anything open because it was getting late. Have to say, not only was the food great, the attitude of the young lady who served us was also lovely. Just a small restaurant but worth eating at.

Food is quite nice!!! Great for either a quick stop or a proper meal. Although the shop is nothing flash, it's still quite acceptable in the area.

Used to order foods or dine-in here few times but has stopped for quite a long time when there's really nothing special about the place anymore esp the food taste were just normal. Until recently (2 nights ago to be exact) bought late night dinner since all other shops have closed. Ordered takeaway lamb chop set for husband and rice and 2 curries set for me. Foods were all delicious, surprisingly so so yummy and full of flavors. I dont know if they have changed the cook but thank you to the chef for that tasty dinner that we had. Young men staff at the cashier was very friendly and smile all the times, patiently answered all questions. Definitely will come again but hopefully the taste will be consistent everytime. Rice was good very tasty. Chicken was pretty dry and tasted like it had been sitting for a while. Service was OK took a while to be served even though it was empty. It would be very helpful to have a full menu that is more visible so you can actually work out what everything is. Would return to see if it was just an off day for them.

This restaurant is not going to win awards for being pretty, but the chilli chicken was splendid and the butter chicken? It is the best I've ever had. It was so creamy and buttery.. The mango smoothie was an excellent and refreshing accompaniment to our meal. And our host was very kind, genuine and polite. I will be returning again in the future :)

Very bad customer services. And the biryani tested. Like it was from 2 days ago. The only good thing was those white stuff.

Appalling. We waited for nearly an hour for two burgers and a small curry (already pre-made), when we went to enquire on the progress of our order, no one was behind the counter nor at a the grill plate. After checking again some time later, we were told the gas bottles needed changing out. The final straw was watching the women cooking the food continually wiping her nose with a tissue and the touching the food that was cooking and was to be cooked on the grill plate. No gloves and no food safety. Although we had already paid for all of the order food including drinks, in fear of food poisoning and after a ridiculously long wait without apology, we left without eating nor bothering to get a refund. We shall never return to this place!

This place use to be my regular joint for middle eastern food for years. I've watched the business change hands many times and still supported locally. However today when I visited on the 24/9/2020 their quality of the food was so bad. So bad I didn't even take a photo. Was not worth it. My friend and I ordered the family pack with a charcoal chicken, chips, salad, rice and drinks. Could you believe everything was wrong? Chips under cooked. Arabic rice was not the same and tasted sour. Chicken resembled cardboard, I was actually so surprised of how dry it was. Salad had way too much pomegranate molasses and it was not fresh. The manager didnt care for the quality of his food. We brought up the issue the chicken was dry and he said " you should've told me". There's a new restaurant a street over called Baalbek and all his customers will go there. He will learn from this. Only giving one star for the hummus!!!

We've ordered from here several times now and the food is always delicious. The babaganoush is gorgeous especially with buttered naan, the kofta spiced and tender, and the portions generous. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Would happily recommend 👍
