Good food. Reasonabk service. A great spot for a quick lunch

Excellent service and food, I enjoy the soft shell crab very much!

We have been to S2 twice since their opening and will keep on going back! Highly recommend! We had spring rolls, incredible soft sea flowers (so very delicious!), tasty green curry (with your choice of heat so it only burns your face off if you want it to) and fresh, tasty basil chill beef and veg. All were extremely flavoursome, and kept me going back for more. The service was fantastic and friendly. A great addition to the Port!

Food ok but definitely not authentic Thai. Cabbage in green curry, soggy over sweet pad Thai, Choo chee prawn that’s been deep fried with battered broccoli, son in law eggs were overcooked. 3 star for food, 2 star for the waitress that served us which was too much trouble to give us a serving spoon for the dishes we were sharing between 7 people!

The top Thai restaurant on my list. The place is small but cosy which is perfect for dates. The food is amazing and very reasonably priced, especially got lots of options for vegetarians. The staffs are all friendly and efficient. If you wanna try the Thia cuisine, Social St S2 on Hutt st is definitely a good choice for you!

I think the best part of this restaurant is the Manager(?) Fred, who is courteous, honest, responsive, timely and passionate. That's not to say that anything else is lacking; on the contrary. The food is delicious and reliable; ambience understated, but comfortable and if you have good company (which, luckily I did) it would be easy to let the night slip away. Looking forward to the next unexpected visit. Thanks Fred!

The beef rendang was OK - it could do with more spice and depth but did taste Indonesian. The Sarawak laksa was a let down though - as a laksa itself it was OK, but it wasn't like a Sarawak laksa at all. The broth was more like a curry and tasted more like a satay-peanut sauce than a laksa. The pad thai in the dish was also overcooked and super-mushy. The stir fried mixed vege was the dish of the day for me as it was well season and veges perfectly cooked. I would've given them a two for taste but they get extra points for their excellent service.

Hands down the best thai restaurant in Adelaide! We've tried about 8-9 Thai places since moving to Adelaide last summer and Social Street is by far the best. In fact, we refuse to get Thai from anywhere else now even though we live on the coast.

All staff are very helpful and friendly. I can confidently say that the food is the best Thai food I have ever had in Adelaide.
