Amazing dumplings!

Had the battered squid and my partner had the fried pig with noodles. Both were good, she said the noodles were 'perfect'. Was BYO which is a plus and the waitress provided exceptionally good service. But no chopsticks in sight, forced to use forks.

Recently visited Shanghai Dumplings with a friend when looking for somewhere laid back to grab dinner and was pleasantly surprised. The service were great and the dumplings were pretty good too. Bonus points for BYO wine and beer. Nice to see some new places making their way into the village.

Great food.

I thoroughly enjoyed my meal at Shanghai Dumplings which will now be my go to for Chinese food. Service was fast and efficient even though they were clearly extremely busy with take away. Food was fresh, well cooked and authentic. Being open on a Monday night is a bonus! We will come again for sure.

Food is rather tasty and price is very affordable though sadly my recent order of mixed vegetables and rice, I encountered a sharp piece of black plastic in my food which caused a tear in the roof of my mouth. Very unfortunate, accidents do happen but, nah.

First off, forgive the photo. I was starving and had begun smashing the food before I even thought of taking a snap! Long story short: delicious dumplings. Fantastic fried rice. Reasonable prices. One of the most enjoyable lunches out I've had in awhile. Definitely worth a look!

What a little gem! Great dumplings- especially the Pork xiao long bao. Xo beef fried rice was exceptional, different flavours in each bite. Lovely service too!
