Serenity Cove Cafe

Awesome barra and chips for $11. This little town was a nice surprise and even better when u know u can get a decent feed.

I ordered a hamburger, fries and a caramel thickshake for lunch only to be greeted with shrewed customer service.

We went to be seated, but were instead met with a rude, scowling and angst filled older woman. She was extremely snappy with our group, and made us feel quite the opposite of being filled with 'serenity.' Not sure how this place has 4 stars, but I'm sure with the customer service we received it'll be a sometime soon number of the past. We ended up leaving without ordering due to her horrid persona. We didnt feel the need to give them our money - even though the place looks like it desperately needs every cent it can get! So thanks old rude woman, we went home instead, and had lovely coffee and cake on the beach without paying ridiculous overly priced coffee and food at your 'Agitation and Scowl Cove Cafe.' Best of luck for the future, as I'm sure customers will be on the decline with your obvious lack of customer service skills.

The tall older lady with short blonde hair was exceptionally rude! No hello, smile or how can I help you, just an annoyed 'where are u sitting because the dog can't go on the deck?' I knew that but give me a couple of minutes to decide where I'm sitting! The service was that rude and off-putting that by the time we sat down I wanted to leave, so we did. You really need to work on your customer service lady!

Good place to catch a quick brekkie and cup of tea in Woodgate. Basic but filling.

Been staying in woodgate for the week. Been coming to serenity cafe for coffee each day and today we had lunch. Absolutely perfect burger with the works chip and milkshake. Lovely staff great outside deck area. Spotlessly clean and great food. What’s not to like.

Best place for breaky in woodgate. Staff were friendly, food was nice. Will go back for lunch next. Nice little eating area too.

The irony of calling this place 'Serenity' when the woman at the counter was so incredibly rude! We stood in line and watched the 2 people ahead of us spy a table, order and pay... And then be snapped at when they went to sit "No! Takeaway only! Stand over there!" (Waving her hand at the takeaway waiting area). We had rang ahead and were told we wouldn't need a reservation and that they could seat us. Arrived and were told there was no tables. We asked about an obviously empty table and were snapped at that it was a table for 10 and even though it wasn't reserved, our party of 4 would not be seated. Fine, don't take our money then.

Have been here a few times recently but today was another level. The customer service of the cat in the hat lady 😊 was left to be desired. Your rudness and.lack of customer service skills need some fine tuning. As paying customers a little respect goes along way. A simple Hello and what can I get for you instead of being greeted with angst surely would be a priority. The burgers we purchased were actually quite enjoyable and thats why we drive all the way here just to have them for lunch. Hopefully one day we can give you 5 stars if your service standards improve. Oh and BTW handling food with no gloves is not a good look..

Bit of a wait when busy but the food is well worth it. One of the best steak works burgers I've ever had. Great fish. Great chips. We will be back next time we're in Woodgate.
