Serafino Wines & Cellar Door

Its a shame I cant click more than 5 stars for this review because they were absolutely fantastic. The Serafino crew hosted my 50th Birthday celebrations last weekend. It was absolutely flawless. The food was on point - thankyou Chef Alberto and your crew. The venue was prepared over and above my expectations and the service on the night supervised by functions coordinator Jo Locke was perfect - Bravo Jo! I cannot recommend Serafino Wines enough for their service and quality. I will definitely be back!

A beautiful place to stay and great food and wine

Was in a rush with a hungry baby racing nap time. The restaurant was not open. The owners had a private function on so the kitchen had been warmed up. They very happily accommodated us, and not only this some of the best Italian food ever set in an idyllic location complete with kitchen garden. We had a selection, but really enjoyed the sea urchin spaghetti and the pumpkin agnolotti which were perfection.

"Ultimate Indulgence", are you serious ? One very dated room where I don't think the windows have been cleaned since it was built, dirty grout in the bathroom. A continental breakfast that consisted of a tub of yoghurt, a tub of cereal and a carton of long life milk. Dinner was pretty much stone cold as well . Whoever came up with the "Ultimate Indulgence" name should be arrested for fraud !! I gave it one star for its surroundings, I would not recommend this to anyone looking for an "Ultimate Indulgence", it's just a very average hotel room !! 😢😡

Great wine tasting experience and friendly & helpful staff! Beautiful view of the lake.

I was a part of a wedding here on the weekend and it couldn't have been more beautiful. That is hugely thanks to Jo, the wedding coordinator. She is organised, kind and goes above and beyond. All staff were great and the location is gorgeous.

My wife and i Stayed for a Night & dined in the Restaurant for Dinner. The Food was Lovely. The Steak was cooked to perfection with a Side of Chips. My Wife had the Pork with Green Beans. Both tasted beautiful.

We visited the cellar door, which was very sterile and cold. Ordered the Spanish anchovies, which consited of 6 small tinned anchovies, swimming in oil, 4 thin slices of bread, drowned in oil and or butter, with a small dish of more butter on the side. I may as well have gone to the servo and drank a litre of casto GTX. Won’t be going back, unless my car ‘s oil light is on.

Carlos is incredibly knowledgeable about the wines and a perfect host. The wines were very interesting (2015 shark tooth Shiraz was amazing!) and I like paying for the tasting, so you can better enjoy the wine.

We stayed at Serafino for two nights and found the accommodation clean, spacious and the bed was super comfy. We had our last dinner in the restaurant last night and had a lovely meal. The linguine was beautiful, as were the little garlic bread rolls! The tiramisu was STUNNING. Our waitress was so lovely (not sure what her name was but it was last night 11th March).
