Schnitz Wollongong

Loved it! Defs recommend

I went to Schmitz recently with my partner and we were served by a lady named Erin who had pink hair she was a delight and was very polite to deal with. I recommend her service highly.

My very first Schnitz experience was in Wollongong over a year or so ago. It has recently moved from it's original location in the food court area to a dedicated 'dine in' premises at Wollongong Central. The staff were very helpful in helping me decide on trying something different, and they didn't disappoint. There's something for everyone on the menu. Take a walk on the wild side and explore the menu.

We went for dinner and the schnitzel was tiny! the herb & cheese crumb I got was a bit soggy, kind of expected a little crunch. I think this place would be fine for a light lunch. (Chips were the saving grace)

Only gave us half our meal, and wouldn't answer their phone when I rang 3 time do NOT recommend

This is literally the worst place it eat in all of Wollongong. Over priced ($20+) small portions (i was still hungry after I finished the roll and chips), food was cold AND overcooked (how?), they didn't serve us at the counter even tho they could see 3 of us waiting there, then proceded to take three times longer than a normal restaurant to come out to us and there was literally 4 people in the whole restaurant. We asked if they forgot our order and said they were preparing it while 3 employees were just standing around letting the burger roll sit there. The only reason I didnt ask for my money back is because I was with people and didn't want to make a scene. Save your money and go buy a sandwich thats been sitting at Coles for 3 days - and it'll be cheaper and taste better than whatever you order from Schnitz.

I just changed my 5 star review to a 3. I generally order the chicken parmigiana with chips. But after you reopened the schnitzel is now always really small about half as big as it was before. And now always seemed to be burnt on the edges. Crazy to expect people to pay $15 for a schnitzel smaller than my hand. The chips are obviously amazing, so the review is saved by that. Long story short: After reopening quality and portions have decreased.

Great and tasty food! Even the veggie schnitzel was very tasty, you won't miss the meat!

Burnt schitnzel and sweet potato chips burnt beyond being able to consume. Extremely disappointing.
