Great little take away spot in South Perth, extremely tasty food & friendly quick service!

This is just too awesome. Generous portion of food, and the smoked beef is superb, nicely cut, thick aromatic gravy, you can't find anywhere better than this. And we love the chuncky peanut sauce + juicy satay. The satay is a treat from them, just too kind. We can't say how satisfied we are.

Very disappointed with the food we ordered. Beef Rendang came out cold & my chicken & vegetable stir fry was more like a soup with approx 4 pieces of chicken & mostly beans & sliced carrot. Have eaten here before and remember it being great so not sure if they’ve had a change of chef😕

Chicken satay was tender and nice. But beef satay and lamb was way too tough. Chicken curry was tasty but meat was over cooked. Mee Goreng was nothing special....

Last night we ordered the family pack of chicken satay with gado gado. Satay was very dry and shrivelled just like it had been left exposed overnight and recooked. Gado2 had under blanched cabbage pieces. Not like my previous experiences. Sad.

4 of us got food poisoning after eating satay and mee goreng. Go at your own risk. Regretfully service is very half @rsed and and staff have a take it or leave it attitude.

Great little hidden gem, satay skewers are recommended. Will definitely be back. It is a family run business, they are all so lovely and will do anything in their power to ensure you are taken care of. They take care of their regular customers very well.

Great Malay satay, okay service

If you're looking for well cooked, authentic and reasonably priced Malay food you should definitely check out this modest little eatery. The owners and staff are friendly, and there is a pleasant atmosphere. There are nice touches too including a shelf of children's books for little ones to pass the waiting time (which isn't long, by the way). I love the gado gado (packed with fresh veggies) and tofu goreng, and my family members never pass up the chance to have their satay. Being small, and popular, you may have to wait for seating, but SoC is still definitely worth trying if you haven't already done so.
