May I ask if you use sustainable packaging within your business, this includes, coffee cups, straws, and containers etc. Also if you do, what has the consumer response been like (positive/ negative)? And what brands do you use?

Hello, may I ask if you are hiring for a waitress job in a moment?

A sensational Vietnamese baguette with a long black. Outstanding service. I came back because the first experience was fantastic and now this time was even better. Thank you all for the wonderful experience.

Small coffee shop next to a garden shop so from the back seating area you have a beautiful calm view of the plants and water features from the next door shop. The next door shop have a Alpaca or a Llama I am not sure but it is a cute little animal worth the visit before or after your coffee. The food is good, simple and delicious, they have lunch too but we only had breakfast. The smoothie was made to order with fresh fruit and there was not many options for kids but we found something. It is relaxing place with good service.

The cafe was neat and lovely, the dining area near the garden gives good views when the sun shines through. The staff was friendly and gives nice recommendations on foods when u donno what to choose. The coffee & food was both fresh and tasty. Will definitely be back!!

Sarah’s Sister’s is a beautiful lunch spot, set back from the beach. The cafe has a comfortable, homey feel with food to match. The back garden is a must, with an incredible patio looking out over a nursery. The meals were beautifully designed tasty meals, that were absolutely filling. We had the Polenta Gnocchi was well balanced and filled with incredible flavour. The daily specials board presented an incredible pumpkin and cous cous dish, which was amazing. Both paired perfectly to their wine list for a fantastic break from the Semaphore sun. Definitely recommend.

Didn't think much of the food when we visited a year or so ago. The coffee was so-so, and one of us had grubby cutlery. Service was friendly, and the food is by season, so it gets points for those. The place is very quirky, and bikes hanging from the ceiling, different chairs/tables, lots to look at. The gardens out the back window are nice. Might give it another go one day.

Food was ok. Not up to their usual high standard. Had their take on Pho, it was pretty average, full of soggy cabbage and carrots, i wouldn't order it again. Will still teturn as this was the first time i haven't been impressed with their meals.

Really nice little cafe/restaurant with a fresh, nature-oriented open atmosphere. Tables are a little close together, but it works. The food is really good. It's not cheap though, and the portions aren't very big, but they're quite tasty. The garden outside is lovely and worth exploring. The flat white coffee wasn't great though, a bit burnt, and the milk wasn't done right. Friendly staff. I love the concept though of a sustainable vegetarian cafe, and I hope it continues to do well.

Description

Vegetarian/ Vegan cafe serving takeaway food and coffee, and take home meals, using fresh local food, including from Community Gardens, and Garden Schools. We are now getting locals to grow Native Foods, like Warrigal Greens, for the cafe. We support Education for Sustainability (EfS), and work with local schools, and UniSA PCP (Placement) Students, and with other Community groups, including NW Schools & Community Network, and the Semaphore Composting Network. Over an 8 year trial period, we diverted over 50,000 kg of scraps, etc from landfill. Since opening our first cafe, Sarah's, in 1978, we've served over 1 million customers, promoting sustainability by example, from our cafe's passive sustainable design, to kitchen management (nearly zero wastage), and local food ( less Food Miles). We've minimised the Cafe's Footprint by over 50 %. At the moment, we're ensuring that vegos and vegans have great food available. With orders, a bottle of vegan wine can be purchased (cond apply).
