Nice coffee

This is a bakery to be proud of. It’s some mean food and it’s cooked in a traditional sense. Wide variety, reasonably priced and the staff are always friendly and approachable. The store is clean and well presented with a modern bakery decor theme. If I am ever in Wadalba and feel like a pie and sausage roll this is the place I go to. Maggie, Sam and the team are friendly and welcoming, but most importantly make a beautiful cup of coffee and delicious treats! The almond coffee ring is my favourite, but the pink donuts are a close second.

Been coming here for a long time & always had the best service and beautiful food, until today. Asked for one of their turkey, cranberry & Brie “gourmet” sandwiches without salt & pepper & it arrived thick with pepper. Took it back for a replacement & it came back with just the cheese replaced, there was pepper still all over the rest of it. Took it back again & when I asked for a fresh one, the girl tried to say that was a fresh one! Seriously?? You’d have to be blind to not see the pepper all over it! The waitress was very apologetic, especially when I said I’m not allowed salt as I’ve had a recent heart attack, but the girl that made & brought the 3rd one out couldn’t crack a smile let alone an apology. I understand mistakes happen & I was happy to wait for the sandwich I ordered,, but to try to pass the same sandwich off as a fresh one? That’s just not acceptable!

I used to love going to this bakery. The staff were always so welcoming and friendly. But I went in today around lunch time and there was a girl serving with the worst attitude. No smile ,No hello,No Thank you!! Just very blunt and talks to you like your an inconvenience to her day. I was going to sit in there and eat my lunch on my break but it was very uncomfortable. Won’t be back!! Very disappointing.

This is my go-to place for coffee locally. Service is always great as is the coffee. But it is popular so be patient. And I just can't resist their orange poppy seed cake to take home when I have guests.

Sam’s Bakehouse refused my entry because I would not scan the QR code which is a breach of the privacy act. It is also a breach of their privacy. The government has the business under surveillance too. If an outbreak of the virus is reported then their business is shut down. Not a good feeling for customers. I won’t be returning.

Best apple pies and bacon and egg burgers . Good coffee and lovley staff.
