I'd like to add another few stars to this review. Faultless, stunning, immaculate and an off-the-charts culinary WOW factor. The Salsa experience is gorgeous on every level - we came for lunch, without a reservation, and in school holidays, knowing full well it was a long shot. They couldn't have been more gracious and accommodating, treating us like we were old friends and welcoming us in with such warmth and friendliness that we felt like we were regulars. We ordered their Thai Chicken Spring Rolls and their special entree (2nd pic) followed by the gnocchi and the fish of the days. Everything was exceptional. Port Douglas is spoiled for choice with great dining options but Salsa, in our opinion, takes the cake. The combination of food, location, atmosphere, wine choices and most of all, the phenomenal staff, made our Salsa outing one of the best and most happily memorable dining experiences I've had in years. This is the one place I would say you can not miss if you're visiting anywhere near Port Douglas. And lastly, huge shout out to Connor and Katie, who we were lucky enough to have as our servers. Both of these two are so switched on and on-the-ball that they don't miss a thing. Service with a smile and then some!

We just had our second visit to Salsas as it was even better than the first time! The relaxed atmosphere is exactly what you want in PD. The staff are so funny and enjoyable to speak with, the food is top notch and the cocktails are fantastic. Definitely do the cocktail and desert pairing, its unreal. We had the toffee apple cocktail and I woke up dreaming of how good it was. I did miss the dessert tasting board that did the full menu though, it was fun having a bite of everything last time we visited.

Fantastic place to eat! We got in after a last minute cancellation (be sure to book in advance!) Lovely attentive service, the restaurant has a lovely vibe. Food was great, and the desert we shared (deconstructed meringue) was OUT OF THIS WORLD (still dreaming of it!!) Overall the experience was fantastic, great flavours, proteins cooked well, left feeling very satisfied and not heavy. Highly recommend.

Lovely lunch and pro staffs. Not easy to book. Suggested to book by phone instead of online as web always showed FULLY BOOKED but I could get the tables by phone. We had fish of thd day but the taste was not as good as the tempura one from menu. Salt and pepper squids not bad but not the best I had before.

Loved the whole experience! Staff were excellent! Beautiful way to celebrate a birthday! Food delicious & great value for money!

Great food, great service, spectacular location. We came back to Salsa after previously dining here 4 years ago. A very different menu this time but equally flavoursome and an exceptional ding experience

Highly reccomend you book as far in advance as you can as this was the hardest reservation to get. Well worth it though. We dined for lunch and the food, drinks and service were top notch. Will definitely try to book for dinner next time!
