Hidden gem in Adelaide. I want to be selfish and not tell people about it but it is too good not to share.

What a gem! The food was amazing and the decor inside is simply stunning, and all handmade by the owner. A really authentic Moroccan experience and a very gracious host, thank you Ali.

Absolutely fantastic, just make sure to check for but allergies and dietary requirements! Superb and authentic food with a setting that felt like stepping into Morrocco itself!

The Sahara Moroccan Casbah provides an intimate and private setting to have a share a meal with someone while having an authentic and unique experience. Ali, the shop owner, is a lovely gentleman with a warm smile who brings out the fresh food cooked by his incredibly talented wife. There's no menu - just let Ali know when you'd like to drop by, and if that fits his schedule, he'll warmly welcome you to his shop and bring out the food cooked fresh for you that day. We were the only ones in his beautiful antique shop littered with gorgeous items from Morocco, which made the experience even more intimate. I would definitely come again the next time I want to fill my self up with delicious, fresh and authentic Moroccan food while having an intimate dining experience with a loved one.

Such an amazing atmosphere! Feels like I’ve had a small (and much needed) getaway to Morocco. The food was incredible, the soup was so hearty and the stuffed pastry was an explosion of incredible flavours. Ali is lovely host also.

What a lovely place. I like to discover Adelaide hidden gems and this one is definitely on my list. I happened to be in this street to catch up with a friend and we were looking for a place to enjoy tea. I passed by Sahara Moroccan Casbah and the store window caught my eyes, it is so welcoming, charming and unique, it is like suddenly you were traveling to Morocco. We were greeted with a big smile by the owner who started to speak French to me as he noticed my accent. We wanted to sit outside to enjoy the beautiful sun and he immediately put a table and 2 chairs for us. We enjoyed a traditional Moroccan mint tea and it was just lovely to spend time here chatting. This place is also a restaurant and serves couscous as well as traditional Moroccan dishes and pastries, so definitely something we will try when we come back :)

Outstanding. Fabulous hidden restaurant. It was a set four courses and it all felt like I was eating true home style Moroccan. It was exciting as each course was a surprise. The price was very reasonable. Good for parking too as it away from the main restaurant strip.

Was hoping to have dinner here tonight but they were closed even though it was 6:30pm. Will have to come back another time!
