The quality of the food, service and atmosphere is incredible. Love this place.

Maybe my italian heritage was expecting a bigger fettucini serve than possibly 90 grams but there you go. Main was delightful, crusty bread was delicious. Dessert was ample. Nice ambient environment.

It was my first visit and the dry aged steak was amazing! I am looking forward to visiting again

One of the best places for steaks in Melbourne. You do t even need to cut the meat, it falls apart when you gently prod it with your knife. Cannot reccomend enough!

Classy restaurant, superb steaks and flawless service. Always come here on special occasions. Not cheap though!

The food was nice, a lot of gristle in my 80 month steak, but still nice. The Mac and cheese was great but it took us two hours for the main course to arrive and someone had to leave and cancel their order it was taking so long. Staff were clearly trying their best but and I think it was just a bad day. Still a frustrating experience given we spent over $900. This was last Friday. Other than that the decor is cool, love all the cows on the back of the menu. The Mac and cheese was insanely good as well. Overall we spent about 3 hours when really expecting to only spend half that.

Having been to Rockpool in Sydney, we were expecting a rather similar experience. However, this was not the case. Restaurant was half full due to covid restrictions so was expecting a high level of service and attention to detail in which you expect at a fine dining restaurant. Menus thrown on table with no mention of options that had been sold out, no full menu terminology, food was lacking flavour, passion and over cooked. The most disappointing aspect was the waitress, not engaging, nor inviting and clearly didn’t want to be at work. In summary we were very disappointed and won’t return.

Tbone - Eye Fillet - Mac and Cheese - Mixed Greens - Garlic and Rosemary Potatoes Another front runner in the Steak category for me is this classic restaurant. Perfect for date night, we visited on our (belated) Valentine’s Day. The menu changes daily and the service is 5 star. I salivate just thinking about these steaks, cooked to perfection, full of flavour and doesn’t require any sauce at all. I recommend the Mac and Cheese, and you absolutely cannot leave without ordering their Pavlova dessert, it is one of my all time favourites!

I booked my partners 40th birthday almost 2 months ago. Due to Melbourne restrictions I called last week to confirm my booking and was told that I would be contacted in 1-2 days as booking times May change as they needed to move bookings around to accommodate. Almost a week later and I had not heard anything so I called today and again was told that I would be contacted, 2 days away from my booking date. I eventually received an auto generated bulk email advising my booking had been cancelled, this left me with a very short time to book something in Melbourne which is challenging enough without restrictions. Knowing this was a special occasion m, I would’ve expected more from a venue like Rockpool! I call to reschedule would’ve been enough. This was and is an extremely poor customer experience!

Been for dinner on multiple occasions, always delivers! Menu rocks and the staff are professional and polite.
