Absolutely beautiful fish and chips. Sat on the foreshore and ate. The owner came over to ask how our food was really nice guy.

Terrible under cooked...scallop the size of 5 cent piece...no batter on fish ....small size fish for 14 dollars

Very small portions, spent $47.50 on 4 small fish offcuts that amounted to nearly one decent fillet and a few chips for two people, took it back to show them thinking they had forgotten to give me the 2nd fish I ordered but was told that was it, which I replied ‘is that a joke. We then had to have another dinner when we got home. My third time, wouldn’t bother again!

Amazing food! Amazing location! Been looking for half decent fish and chips in Darwin for a long time, and finally come across Rescue Me. Can not fault it!

Overrated and overpriced! Heaps of pale salty chips (although I requested crunchy chips at 2 occasions) and only small portions of fish. The snapper was so tough it was almost inedible. Certainly not worth the long wait and the price especially as they are not providing enough tables and chairs to have a chance to sit down while waiting and eating. I couldn’t be bothered to return the snapper as I thought they wouldn’t have cared anyway given the general attitude of the staff. Not going back anymore after 2 attempts mainly because of the nice location. Bring your own food and sit down on the provided public tables and benches or your own outdoor chairs!

Been coming here for a couple years and never had a bad feed. Would recommend. Don't expect to get a table as it is fairly popular but I rarely miss out ! You should bring one in your boot if you expect one should be waiting for you !

Highly recommended! Have eaten here many times across their many spots and can never fault the food or the service.

RUDE is the word I'd use to describe the service I got. A smile and being less dismissive and more attentive to your customers would go a long way! This goes for everyone there and not just the male at the counter. It wasn't busy and that was the attitude as a whole, pitty.
