Rathdowne Village Delicatessen

I was taken for lunch here today. We also got a delicious almond croissant to take away as we were too full to eat it there. Lots of gourmet delights to have for lunch - yummy toasted sandwiches spanakopita, pies eccetera good coffee well worth a visit. A favorite in Rathdowne Village.

Love this place, but it shouldn’t take 25 minutes to toast a sandwich. Highly recommend getting another toaster RVD! Otherwise heads up customers, you’ll be expected to wait a long time for your bread to be toasted here!

Toasted sandwiches are phenomenal! My personal favourite is the veggie toastie with chicken schnitzel.

I can't rate this place highly enough. The food is delicious and good quality, and the staff are wonderful people - always kind and ready to help.

Best for breakfast and great coffee. It was my first time and I loved it.

This is one of the best Cafés that I have been in a while for far. I am not used to write a review because usually I am in a rush. I discovered this place in the same way - running from one point to another. But, once in a while you take your time and enjoy what's in front of you. Specially the beautiful and fresh sandwichs!! The team is highly professional, polite, friendly and efficient and every time that I come here my order is ready in a few minutes. Highly recommend the Mortadella sandwich - hopefully you can order it when it's being made in front of you! I'll keep coming back for sure

This is my favourite cafe! I go here at least once a week and bring everybody I know. All of the food is so delicious (especially the prosciutto roll) and the staff are lovely. Good prices too!!!! 10/10 love it

Might look like your average cafe/ deli, but Rathdowne village delicatessen is anything but! I stopped by a few saturdays ago for breakfast, and was immediately greeted by the friendly staff. It was about 10am very busy place yet the service and waiting time was still amazing!! Would highly recommend the toasties 😋 will definitely be returning!!
