Amazing ramen!!
The food here is good but the service seriously needs reworking, watched way too many people have to sit outside in the cold/rain while the place was close to empty. Nothing like the service in Japan or anywhere in Perth for that matter.
I loved the selection of vegan ramen 🍜! Very unique! Good ramen and nice Japanese staff
Having read the review in Urban List, we gave Ramen Ichiraku a try. I will only give it 7/10 with the following comment: Truffle style soup was nice but salty. Soup was not hot. No choice of Noodle texture.
Great authentic Japanese ramen shop, it was very delicious. They do have a lot options even for vegetarians or vegan. That’s an huge plus, cos most of the ramen shops around perth, didn’t even have any vegetarian ramen options on their menu. Staff is very friendly and polite, it feels like you’re in japan in a ramen store:) Highly recommended place
Terrible service. We came early as we have young kids and we wanted to be in and out. Made us wait in the cold to enter even though our our friend was just paying for parking. They took our order set our table with kids bowls they told us that everyone had to order a main. Even our 3 year old. We had ordered 3 different entrees. We did not want to order a big bowl of ramen for our young kids so after some debate we were told we would have to leave. This was all while about 15 people were waiting outside with 4 other empty tables. Very strange business model.
Very very bad service. Went for birthday dinner of 16 year old . They didn't let us in as we were waiting for 1 more person to arrive and it was cold outside. Restaurant wasn't full at all. We were happy to order in advance for other person as well. Ridiculous. This is not Japanese culture at all. You guys are shame on Japanese hospitality and culture.
Pros: standalone vegan menu with various choices of Ramen! Cons: in this current situation you will need to wait till your entire party arrives before being seated. You also need to order before being seated. We tried the Ton Ton and Dragon ramen, both were enjoyable. If you can handle spice I'd go for level 4 heat on the dragon ramen as 3 wasn't trouble. All in all, recommended trying.
Had a dinner with my Vegan friend cause so hard to find a vegan ramen around. My Truffle normal ramen was too salty. The broth is OK, but i couldn't finish it the soup cause extremely salty. My vegan friend also doesn't really like the mushroom broth on his truffle vegan ramen cause a bit salty and sweet. Not sure what the flavour is. Pretty standard. But i don't think we wanna come back to Ichiraku. Sorry.
Located in a backstreet of Northbridge. They force you to stand outside in the cold for your group to decide what to eat from their menu. Ramen was subpar and expensive when compared to others available in the CBD. The last time went with a few friends as they were hungry and I was not, so I was going to just order entrée and drink but I was asked to leave because the minimum was to order a bowl. Not worth the effort, never going again.
