Rajarani Indian Restaurant

We had the banquet and were really pleased with the entrees in particular. The curries were enjoyable, it was nice to be able to get Kashmiri naan. The service was kind and helpful. The wine (a local Chardonnay) was good. I'd come back here.

Basic surrounds but beautiful food..looks like it's all home made too...I'd go back anytime...nice staff..

Had curries and rice. Curries tasted ok but needed more vegetables, not just a couple of bits of capsicum in the sauce. Local staff were nice.

Food was a slightly above average. The mango lassi was yum. Overall experience was fine.

What can I say i have a weakness for Naan Bread Somosas and Butter chicken two nights in a row... this place is addictive...yummy! Delicious!

Definitely not as bad as what other reviews say... we were sceptical at first but were craving for Indian food and hence tried and they did not disappoint.. We tried the paneer tikka, daal and naan... all the dishes were tasty... I really liked the daal... they serve all curries with rice which is an add on... sweet lassi was a bit tangy though so may not recommend, but over all it was good... its a small simple restaurant serving good Indian food and if you are craving for some spicy Indian food, not a bad try

Really disappointing. We are new to town and wanted to give them a fair try given the mixed reviews. I'm sorry but don't bother coming here - Ive honestly never eaten curry so flavourless before. Mudgee has so many awesome restaurants but these guys needs to pick up their game. Also shocked at how small the portions were - we paid almost $20 for a curry that could have sat in the palm of your hand (round container). Ordered a butter chicken and a lamb korma plus a garlic naan bread. Butter chicken just tasted like tomato paste. We don't even know what the lamb korma was - it had lamb, sure, but it had a beefy flavour gravy with onions, nothing like the traditional creamy korma we have ordered in the past. The garlic naan was the only good thing in the order. Given the terrible value for money and the lack of flavour we will not be going back here. Sad but true.

Their Tadka Dal and Dal Makhani is super delicious. Very nice food
