Unit 3/4 6 Bennetts Close McKeller 2617, Canberra
Have been to Raijin twice now. Both times, the service was great, the food was amazing (the best I've had outside of Tokyo), and overall we had a great experience. Definitely would reccommend, and we will definitely be back
Excellent Japanese restaurant in a small suburb. Good quality and authentic. Best of all very reasonable price.
Love this place! Always good service and food is always delicious.
Finally got to dine at this, highly recommended, boutique Japanese restaurant in a suburban car park all by itself. Excellent food and service with a BYO licence. Very popular, even on a Tuesday night. Book online by SMS to avoid disappointment. A great destination for excellent enjoyable food.
Every trip to Raijin has been delicious. Down to earth flavours paired with big portions. We ordered the tempura tofu, crab croquettes, egg ebi don and black curry katsu don. First time trying black curry sauce. It was divine. The ebi (eel) was cooked to perfection. My favourite is the crunchy tempura tofu with a lemony soy sauce. Definitely have to go back to try more of the menu. This place is really worth a try if you love Japanese food
Don't let the location fool you, this is a great little restaurant. Portions are quite large (the karage Chicken Ramen was super filling) and well priced, the service was really friendly too. Booking is essential as it is only a small venue, they don't service alcohol but it is BYO.
An amazing little restaurant that packs a big punch. Very authentic, beautifully presented and well-priced Japanese food across quite a diverse menu. The decor is very pleasant and creative, with lots of lovely Japanese touches in a fairly cosy space. The staff tonight were very busy with a full house but were very attentive, polite and helpful. And the desserts were amazing too! This Japanese restaurant, in a slightly unusual location at the otherwise very quiet McKellar shops, is an absolute gem. Five stars!
The food in this low key joint is quite good. Cheap and large serving sizes. Good value for money
We live in a suburb near McKellar and we thought we would try this little place for the 1st time as we both wanted some Japanese food. Wow, we were not disappointed..! Food was fresh, tasty and authentic. The staff member who took our order was very nice. Don't be put off by the location and the end of a carpark. This place is a hidden gem and we will definitely be returning.
I wish I could give zero for the review. Bad service bad food! Experience price and low quality. Especially wagayu just low quality beef
