Great Charcoal Chicken

Our 'go-to' takeaway chicken shop and one of the cleanest shops you'll visit. Great choice of accompaniments too, generously packaged.

Very disappointing. We ordered two hot chicken rolls and to our surprise, they came glad wrapped. We quickly realised the chicken and the rolls were not fresh. The chicken was dry and had bones throughout it. The rolls were dry and chewy. It was as though the rolls had been pre-made and defrosted in a microwave. They were inedible and we ended up giving the chicken to our dog. I just hope we don't get sick from our experience.

Never a bad meal from here. A solid GO-TO for lunch or dinner. The best BBQ chicken. Friends from out of area travel for this chicken

Customers beware of the service here Walked in to order food when the owners were verbally abusing a customer who ordered 2 quarters of chicken and chips The customer was talking to another customer and the lady behind the counter lost it him as he was having a discussion that had nothing to do with her The language and behaviour of a shop assistant towards customers wow she should learn how to behave and treat customers with respect The other customer had done nothing wrong. We will not be coming back and can’t wait till the new chicken shop opens and they take our business along with others. Lost a loyal customer

I have been going to this shop for years now. The smell of the chicken cooking is nastalgic and the taste is magical. Charcoal chicken all day long. The chicken is cooked perfect. The meat is still soft and moist. The next thing I love from this place is the chips. OMG.... The chips are cooked to perfection with their inhouse chicken salt.....YUMMMM. Customer service is excellent... Big G is always there busting away but always has time for a chinwag. Recently, I believe it is his partner has started to work there and she loves a chat and joke. Great couple doing great things with food for the community. Dont hesitate to come in for a family feed or a snack of chips Highly recommended.

Yummy. Has been consistent over the years. Chicken is good here.Nice flavours. Chips is cooked fresh. Clean oil. Good deal on meals...good sized portions...always seems fresh. Service seems organised. Fast turnover. Service could do with more pleasantries but guess its too busy for that. Out of all the chicken shops in this area, this is my fav. Quality food. Would recommend a stop in.
